Another month has come and gone. It was a fun one! I had the amazing pleasure of spending a week in the Mexican Riviera, continued getting ready to move in with my wonderful girlfriend (and the pups!), and had the pleasure of bringing in Passover with my family and friends.

Welcome to the 399th edition of the Carnival of Personal Finance. For those of you who are visiting Narrow Bridge Finance for the first time, welcome! I have been writing on this site for over five years trying to bring the best and most useful information to readers around the world.

Happy Birthday to Me! Happy Birthday to Me! Happy Birthday Dear Me. Happy Birthday to Me!
Okay, you get the point. Today is my birthday. The big two eight. I am getting near the end of being a twenty-something blogger. But I don’t look at age as a bad thing, it is another year of fun and life experience on my journey.

Thanks for joining us for another near record month here at Narrow Bridge Finance. I was excited to pass 10,000 page views for the third consecutive month, and appreciate all of you being a part of it.

What a year. Memories were made, countries were visited, relationships were made, businesses were started. 2012 was possibly the busiest year of my life. I had a lot going on and I am proud of what has happened. Here are some highlights from the blog and elsewhere.

Another month has come and gone. It was exciting one here at Narrow Bridge Finance. Following the Google Panda update, I struggled for quite a while while deciding how to move things forward. Thankfully, due to hard work and good friends, last month was the biggest ever at Narrow Bridge Finance. I am very excited to see that this month followed closely, and was the second biggest month ever for visits on this site. In fact, taking out a few outlier days, this would have been the biggest month ever.

Hopefully you have all successfully navigated the spending trap of Black Friday and you are doing your best to keep to your budgets on Cyber Monday. I know that I skipped Black Friday completely. The only thing I gained this weekend was about five pounds! If holiday spending has you down, be sure to read through the amazing posts below in this #389th edition of the Carnival of Personal Finance.
If you know anything about me or about this site, you know I am not a huge frugality guy. However, I am against wasting money and planning out your spending to get the most value from each dollar. Either way, just know that I am kind of a big deal, and as a big deal, I am an authority on other people that are kind of a big deal. Every post below is awesome, so go check them out, learn, share, and enjoy!
<shameless-self-promotion>You should also know that I have a sweet eBook, and you might even be able to get it for free!</shameless-self-promotion>

Happy Halloween! Another month has come and gone here at Narrow Bridge Finance, and it was a great one. Thanks to everyone who helped make this the biggest month in the five year history of the site. After a big hit from Google Panda and Penguin, it seems that things are back on the right track again! Each visit is noticed, each comment is read, and almost every email is responded to. I appreciate the wonderful community of readers here, THANK YOU!
September was a great month here at Narrow Bridge Finance. Thanks to everyone who gave me a media mention or included me in a blog roundup. You can find those links below.

My awesome eBook, the Personal Finance Arsenal, is now available for download in the Kindle Store from Amazon. To celebrate, I have lowered the price to only $9.99 at the Kindle Store and PersonalFinanceArsenal.com.
A couple weeks ago, I was hanging out with 400 fellow finance bloggers discussing ways to make our sites better and more useful for all of you, our readers. I had the pleasure of planning and speaking at Ignite FinCon, one of our big social events. This was my third Ignite speaking engagement, and I am excited to bring you the video of my big night on stage.
