I just read a great comparison of the top online finance portals, and I think it is worth a read. Here is a quick summary of what is covered:
Google Finance (the one I use): A clean, fast, “Google-y” interface. I use it to track my portfolio intra-day and do research on stocks and industries.
Yahoo! Finance: A more complex and in depth experience. Takes more time to get used to but has more options and data that could be useful for technical and experienced traders.
AOL Finance: Apparently upgraded. I don’t really care though, AOL is so 10 years ago.
