What Is That Orange Icon Anyway?

Category: Narrow Bridge – Eric – 9:00 am

That orange icon is the universal logo for RSS feed. RSS stands for really simple syndication. It really is simple.

RSS is the web of the future. RSS feeds allow for people to read multiple, blog based websites from a blog reader. I follow roughly fifty websites that update regularly. Rather than bookmark and visit the sites, I read the sites using Google Reader.

This saves a ton of time, as everything new is just put in front of me. If you have a Google account, you already have Google Reader, you just need to set it up.

You can subscribe to my RSS feed for Narrow Bridge Adventures by clicking on the orange link at the top right corner of the blog or by clicking on this link.

For the handful of subscribers that have already jumped on board, thanks. For the future subscribers, I look forward to keeping you up to date on the financial world by RSS.
