As an avid blogger (as a hobby), I was interested in buying a particular book on blogging. I walked in to the local chain bookstore and saw that the book cost $25. I thought that seemed a bit high, so I decided to skip it and look on Amazon.
Just looking at one other place, I found that I could save $9 just by buying it online. I also found a 40% coupon for the same bookstore, which would have saved about $10. All it takes is five minutes online to save $10 on a book.
It shows that an impulse buy is generally not a good idea, especially in books and DVDs.
